TREND FORCAST

Modern femininity takes centre stage this Fall/Winter 2026. Explore the trends, colours and silhouettes defining the season’s most influential looks.

For Fall Winter 2026, La Femme Moderne sculpts her silhouette from the neckline down. Sport codes are refi ned for city life, while volume owns the room and plum sets the mood. Lace, sheer and drapes give her that ‘don’t underestimate me’ energy. And checks? Back, bold and always winning.

NECKLINE NOUVEAU  001

Let’s start from the top. This season, the focus shifts to the neckline, with the funnel neck taking centre stage. The inspiration comes from Cristóbal Balenciaga, a designer often described as “the architect of fashion”. He continuously experimented with volume around the shoulders and neck to create powerful silhouettes. This season, the funnel neck appears across coats, blouses and knitwear.

ELEVATED ATHLEISURE 002

Track jackets, windbreakers and side stripes are combined this season with more feminine and polished elements. A key source of inspiration remains Princess Diana. Long before athleisure became a trend, she was already pairing oversized sweaters, cycling shorts, sneakers and sports jackets with effortless elegance. Her paparazzi photographs from the 1990s would undoubtedly go viral on Instagram today. What was once considered casual now feels iconic. That effortless blend of sporty and sophisticated returns this season throughout our collection.

TIED & TWISTED 003

Tied & Twisted is all about scarf details and draping. The inspiration comes from the iconic French scarf: a timeless style element that is no longer worn exclusively around the neck, but also at the waist, on the head or transformed into a top. This season, it is not only worn as an accessory but becomes an integral part of the garment itself. Elegant, with a touch of Parisian nonchalance.

AIR DU VOLUME 004

If you have ever wondered: “Can trousers get any wider?” the answer this season is: yes. Balloon shapes appear across trousers, tops, sweaters and outerwear. The silhouette becomes rounder and more expressive, while still remaining wearable. Carrie Bradshaw from Sex and the City understood this years ago: sometimes fashion is simply allowed to take up a little more space. Luckily, this season, that applies to our trousers too.

PLUM ROYALE 005

Every year, fashion embraces a new favourite colour. Last autumn, it was......... CORRECT! Brown! This season, that role shifts to Royal Plum. A rich, deep shade with the same warmth as brown, but with an added sense of drama and luxury. Royal Plum is one of those colours you first think is beautiful. And then, suddenly, you start seeing it everywhere.

THE POWER OF RED 006

From red lipstick to the iconic red sole of Louboutin, red has symbolised confidence and presence for decades. This season, red appears throughout the collection. Not as an accent, but as a statement. Combined with brown, denim, black or even worn in a tonal look, it creates a style that is both striking and elegant. As Valentino once said: “Red is not a colour. It is an attitude.”

SOFT POWER 007

Perhaps this is the most relevant trend of the season. For years, it seemed that the bigger the blazer, the better. This season, we see a return to softer, more feminine silhouettes and materials. Lace and sheer fabrics bring softness back into the fashion landscape, while draping adds a feminine touch. Soft Power shows that softness and strength are not opposites, but qualities that enhance one another.

CHECKMATE 008

Checks are one of those rare patterns that everyone instantly recognises. From the iconic Burberry check to Cher’s famous yellow suit in Clueless. This season, checks make a strong comeback. From subtle mini checks to bold patterns across blazers, trousers and coats. Classic, recognisable and always relevant.
